Project: AIDS Slogans
KIRO’S CELEBRITY/AIDS SLOGANS PROJECT
Kiro has a knack for getting his picture taken with celebrities. He sent some of the pictures to Madodu in Gisenyi, Rwanda to give away. Madodu had this great idea to put our anti-AIDS slogans on the back of four different photos and give them away in Africa.
We put our slogan: “Protect Yourself from HIV/AIDS” in four different languages: Swahili, French, Kinyarwanda and English—one language for each shirt. We can’t make them fast enough! The children in Africa love them. When we’re invited into their homes, they have them on their walls.
